Welcome to New England Wine Grape Growers' Resource Center |
Currently there are almost 1,000 acres of wine grapes grown in New
England on vineyards ranging in size from 80 acres down to less than an
acre. These vineyards and associated wineries are spread all around New
England located in every state. Some of these vineyard/wineries have
long been established, producing high quality wine grapes for over
25 years, some are newly established and just getting started, while
still others are in the planning stages, to be planted in coming years.
All have set for themselves a standard of excellence in production and
management.
This website has been created to provide these vineyard
wineries access to resources to assist in the production of high
quality grapes and wines by:
- providing up-to-date viticultural production and management information
- linking to a wide range of viticulture resources
- enabling growers communicate efficiently w/ each other and with resource providers to solve problems, and
- informing growers of upcoming meetings and events
We also hope that this website will help residents and visitors to New
England learn more about this vibrant part of our agricultural
community. Visit some of our New England Vineyard Wineries and enjoy a
unique taste of New England.
